“194-160” usually refers to the key dimensions of the hydraulic cylinder:
Outer diameter (φ194mm): The outer diameter of the cylinder, which determines the installation space and compatibility with accessories such as the cylinder head and flange.
Inner diameter (φ160mm): The inner diameter of the cylinder, which directly affects the piston stroke, hydraulic oil volume and hydraulic cylinder thrust (thrust = pressure × inner diameter cross-sectional area).
 
II. Key points of customized requirements
Material selection
Common materials:
45# steel (quenched and tempered, moderate strength, high cost performance);
27SiMn (high strength, wear resistance, suitable for high pressure conditions);
Stainless steel (such as 304/316, corrosion-resistant, used in special environments).
Required to confirm: working pressure, medium (hydraulic oil/water-based fluid), environmental corrosiveness.
Processing accuracy requirements
Inner diameter roughness: usually needs to reach Ra0.4-0.8μm to ensure the life of the piston seal;
Roundness/cylindricity: ≤0.03mm to avoid piston jamming;
Straightness: ≤0.1mm/m to prevent cylinder deformation.
Surface treatment
Quenched hard chrome plating (thickness 0.05-0.1mm): improve wear resistance and corrosion resistance;
Blackening/galvanizing: basic anti-rust treatment (suitable for non-high-pressure scenarios).
Interface and installation method
Threads, flanges or welding grooves need to be processed at both ends of the cylinder to adapt to the cylinder head and piston rod;

4. Production cycle and quality inspection standards
Cycle: Conventional material processing is about 7-10 days, special materials or precision grinding need to be extended to 15 days;
Quality inspection:
Dimensional inspection: three-coordinate measuring instrument verifies inner diameter and wall thickness;
Pressure test: static pressure test of 1.5 times the rated pressure (such as working pressure 16MPa, test pressure 24MPa), maintain pressure for 30 minutes without leakage;
Surface flaw detection: magnetic particle testing (MT) or ultrasonic testing (UT) to eliminate defects such as cracks.
